Stardoll is a very fun and entertaining website that may seem harmless. But on any website, there are always dangers and I am upset to say that many of my fellow users do not take the right precautions.
But have no fear! I am here to get you started on how to keep your account SAFE!

Let's begin with preventing access to your account.
How to prevent hackers:
-NEVER give out your password on ANY CIRCUMSTANCE AT ALL. Don't even give it to your best friend, if you really want your account, no one can be trusted.
-Account trading and selling IS NOT ALLOWED.
-THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE SUPERSTAR OR STARDOLLARS. Unless it is given to you as a reward for a competiton FROM THE STARDOLL STAFF, there is no such thing as a free lunch and anyone offering these things to you should never be trusted.
-NEVER give out the email address associated with your account.
-NEVER change your email address if someone asks you to, they can easily change your password.
-ALWAYS make sure your password is a mix of capital and lower case letters and characters. Make sure it is not your real name, pets name or an easily known fact about you.
EXAMPLE:
Good Password: PL@yGr0uND
Bad Password: liasmith

Now, let's begin on how to stay safe.
-NEVER give out your address or personal information. (This includes pictures of yourself, full name, credit card numbers, ID, ect.)
-NEVER ask for someone elses details.
-NEVER talk to someone online that you don't know.
-DO NOT agree to meet them in real life.
-DO NOT believe everything you read about them. While some people are being truthful, there are always people who are not.
-ALWAYS report people who make you feel uncomfortable or who are asking for personal information.
